Meet Evans

Evans, 18, has been with us as part of his T-Levels at Bury College which involve one day a week on a work placement.

 

Evans, who originally comes from Nigeria but is now living in Salford, is studying Business & Management at T-Level at the college. 


During his time at Wing Mirror Man, he’s been gaining valuable experience in responding to customer queries that have come through on the telephone, website or via online quotation sites. 


He has been dealing with customers from the public and the car trade. 


Says Evans: “Every single day, I enjoy being at Wing Mirror Man. I’m learning something new and it all supports what I’m learning at Bury College. I’ve grown in confidence and it’s been a brilliant experience.”

T-Levels

Introduced in England in 2020, T-Levels are a new qualification designed to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed for work and further study. They are equivalent to three A-levels and are designed to be more practical, industry-focused, and rigorous than traditional vocational qualifications. However, T-Levels are due in the near future to be replaced by a new qualification called Advanced British Standard thought to be based on the French baccalaureate qualification.

Our Uniqueness

We pride ourselves on being able to supply full wing mirror units, wing mirror glass, wing mirror covers, stick on glass and glass cut to size - in single units rather than in bulk and even provide a service to paint the covers to match the colour of vehicles. (This saves our customers a lot of money, stress and inconvenience in trying to get them painted via dealers or even body shops).
